I've now just started Physiology of Fluid Balance now that my first term is finished... and though I've studied microbiology in the past. I have to say.. I've never really realised how aware our bodies are. I mean the system is just amazing... so complex but also in harmony.

I've been assigned to learn about membrane fluid transfusion. Which is more or less the study of what gate certian members of the public "Biological fluid" should use... kind of like the study of a castle named Cell...

Now I've watched cells work.. and its really amazing... and to some degree. Makes me question what we call conscious. Our body is so intelligent.... lol even more so than its host.

Just think for a second... imagine if our body was "conscious".... hmmm it just makes you think.

Also I've decided my purpose for wanting to seek a medical career. Its very simple, I feel the war on disease and infection is a battle of intelligence, and honestly I want to be smarter than a prokaryote cell. Sounds weird eh? Well just think about it.... its like wanting to crack a computer.. but a computer that is smart enough to adapt.. but also a computer that causes harm to people. Some people may want to beat that computer... even though they can never fully do such.

Nothing computes faster than atoms?

Hmmmm always makes me wonder how a computer can work. Kind of a crazy invention if you think about it.

In a certain way of the looking it at the atoms themselves are the computer. The atoms of your hand are computing the position and reality of your hand moment to moment. When your brain want's to move your hand it fires electrons at it down the nervous system which change it's state.
